Jim Johnson

  Jim Johnson  currently lives and works in Bristol. He is passionate about guitar, composing and playing, and is also a very keen teacher.

He has sung and recorded his own compositions on various well known record labels such as Telstar Records and the Bristol label ‘Cup of Tea’, and his music is featured on a number of films and film sound tracks including ‘Goodbye Charlie Bright’ starring Danny Dyer, and also ‘The island Of Dr. Moreau’ starring Val Kilmer and Marlon Brando. 

He has toured extensively as a guitarist/singer in Britain, Europe and Japan, some of his most memorable appearances being at the Glastonbury Festival, seeing in the new millennium in the Queens Square concert in Bristol and representing Great Britain at the G8 summit in Fukuoka, Japan in 2000.

He has been teaching guitar at all levels since 1991, children as well as adults.
