The Cévenol Course 2010
The daily programme will be as follows with exceptions on arrival and departure days These are the broad lines of your course’s time table, it may be subject to modifications depending on circumstances
14^th August	Arrival of students and teachers (let us know in good time if you need an airport, train or bus pick up )
August 14^th	Arrival for residential students and teachers of the main course (Please let us know your flight details as soon as you know them) Non-residential students may drop in anytime after lunch

August 14^th	Be prepared for a hard day as the full day will be about picking up students who have booked the Lyon Airport transfer, On arrival: Registration, being shown your room, short audition for new students, only, by William Godfree and Richard Crabtree Choice of chamber music groups by William Godfree , language tests for students taking group tuition Once we have collected all the data we will feed our computerized system. It usually takes a good part of the first nigh to produce your individual time table!

August 14^th 19.00 - 19.40	Dinner followed by Induction meeting where students will be told what to expect from the course, the rules will be explained, you will meet most of your tutors and you can ask as many questions as you need to. Please stay in the Dining Hall until this part is over

13.30 - 14.30	Composers’ workshop or Language tuition or Instrumental or vocal tuition or Chamber music
14.30-15.30	Instrumental or vocal tuition or Language tuition or Theory class or Chamber music
15.30 -16.45	String Orchestra with Pr Richard Crabtree

15.30 – 16.45	Jazz workshop with Andrew Colman
16.30 – 17.00	Tea Time/ Goûter
17.00 - 18.15	Orchestra with William Godfree or piano master classes : only the 2 best pianists play in the orchestra

Thursday 19^th August 21.00	§ David Russell and Zaiba Sheikh (USA) Lecture and Concert
Saturday 21^st August 21.00	§ Hugues Borsarello solo violin concert
Sunday 22^nd August 17.00	free day and concert Performance of the Rock Concerto Cévenol project
Monday 23^rdAugust 21.00	§ Richard Crabtree (violist, United Kingdom) and Charles Matthews, ( pianist, United Kingdom)
23^rd to 27^th August	Week 2 Monday August 23^rd to Thursday August 26^th as for week 1
	Students coming for the second week (20^th to 27^th only) will have a normal day schedule
Wednesday 25^th August 21.00	§ Two of the course’s prodigy students : Julia Hwang (Korean from Bristol) and Paco Montalvo (Spanish from Cordoba), both already international solo performers will give a joint concert, accompanied by British pianist and organist Charles Matthews
Thursday 26^thAugust 21.00	Teachers’ concert
Friday 27^th August From 14.00 onwards	Rehearsals and final student concert End of course party for students and their families
Saturday 28^thAugust	All resident participants leave after breakfast
If you need an extra day at the end (because of no flight on Saturday, please book it well in advance, there will be an additional charge)
