Jack Greenway

Teaches English, French & Spanish

About Jack

My teaching career began after completing my degree in French and Spanish at the University of Leeds in 2013, where I developed a strong interest in languages and international education. I went on to gain a Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and started teaching in several countries including China, Spain, Slovakia and the UK.

In 2018, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Modern Foreign Language focus) at the University of Sheffield, gaining Qualified Teacher Status. Since then, I have taught across a range of settings, including secondary schools, universities, and private tuition. My experience includes delivering English for Academic Purposes at the London Film School and the University of Lancashire, delivering IELTS tuition for international students wanting to study in the UK and tutoring French and Spanish across a range of levels.

Alongside my teaching roles, I run my own education company, where I design and deliver tailored language programmes in English, French, and Spanish. This has given me the opportunity to work closely with students of different ages and backgrounds, adapting lessons to suit their individual needs and goals.

I speak English (native speaker), French and Spanish and also have a good grounding in Mandarin, Italian, German and Slovak. Having studied and worked in a range of international environments, I love the authentic experiences and new opportunities that learning a language can bring.

I look forward to meeting you soon on LMFL’s new summer course in July!
